Standard Rooms Included
The Muskoka Seasonal comes standard with a kitchen, washroom and an open concept living area that is the width of the whole unit.
Two Exterior Designs Available
The Muskoka exterior can be ordered in two different exterior designs – contemporary or traditional.
Contemporary
The standard design is contemporary and has an almost a flat roof.
Traditional
The traditional design is optional and has a sloped roof.
Reinforced Steel Roof
EcoPods feature all steel-reinforced roofs. The roofs are made of galvanized steel which is then powder-coated with high-quality polyurethane. The result is a super strong roof that is ridged and long-lasting.
All Steel Frame Construction
A Modular Home Built to Last
Unlike some Modular Homes with only wood as their frame. EcoPods feature all steel construction. The frames are made of galvanized steel which is then powder-coated with high-quality polyurethane. The result is a super strong frame that is ridged and long-lasting. EcoPods do not use any wood studs or joists.
Steel Floors
Walk on Quality
One more aspect that’s standard in our modular home construction is the floor. Our floors are thicker than average and constructed with reinforced steel.
MGO Sub Floor
MGO is a unique engineered high strength, tongue, and groove flooring sheet. Magnesium oxide (MgO) is a naturally occurring mineral that, when combined with other components, forms a strong, durable, and versatile construction material. It makes an excellent subfloor material.
4 Double Pane Windows
EcoPod units come standard with 4 high-quality aluminum double-pane windows to keep the bad out, and the good in. More windows are available.
Steel Doors with Double Pane Glass
Our front doors are made out of steel and are solid and sturdy. Double-pane windows add to the overall heat efficiency of our units.
Laugh at Snow
EcoPod units are made of all-steel construction which makes them strong and durable. Plus, we add extra reinforcement to our roofs and walls to take heavy and wet snow loads.
Mold Resistant
Since EcoPod units are made of all steel construction, they are highly mold resistant. Problems with moldy drywall are gone forever.
Mildew Resistant
Mildew is a close cousin of mold and since EcoPod units are made of all steel they are highly mildew resistant as well.
Pest Resistant
Mice and other pests are drawn like a magnet to RV’s and Campers and anywhere humans live (think free food). They can chew their way in quickly through wood and plastic components. Because EcoPod units are made of all steel they are highly resistant to pests (unless they can eat through steel).
Standard Vinyl Flooring
The Muskoka comes with high-quality vinyl flooring which is waterproof and very durable. The standard colour is Brown Oak.
12V Power System
The Muskoka seasonal comes standard with 12V power system which can run basic things like the standard 12V lights indoors and the outdoor font porch light. For options that require more power (like heating and air conditioning) an optional 70 AMP or 100 AMP power system will be required (see options below).
Interior Lighting
The Muskoka comes with standard surface-mounted overhead LED interior lighting.
Exterior Lighing
This model comes with standard exterior lighting by the front door.
Reinforced Steel Roof
At EcoPod we know what winters in the north can be like. That is why we reinforce our roofs with extra steel cross braces and additional steel joists.
Options Explained
The Muskoka Season Version is available with several factory-installed options. Select the most suitable options that best fit your requirements, usage type, and location. NOTE: If you would like more options consider the Muskoka 4 Season Version
Upgraded Kitchen Option
The Muskoka is available with an upgraded kitchen with upgraded lower cabinets, a countertop, and a sink.
Delux Kitchen Option
The Muskoka is available with a deluxe kitchen that is bigger, has more counter space, includes upper cabinets, a range hood, and features upgraded faucets, and hardware.
Kitchen Cabinet Option
The standard kitchen cabinet colour is white and the standard style is contemporary. However, a selection of styles and finishes are available as an option. Please consult with an EcoPod Sales Associate for more details.
Upgraded Washroom Option
The Muskoka is available with a larger upgraded washroom with includes a shower, toilet, sink and vanity.
Delux Washroom Option
The Muskoka is also available with a deluxe washroom that is bigger and features upgraded faucets, shower stall and hardware.
Washer / Dryer Option
This option adds water, exhaust and electrical connections for a compact “all in one” washer/dryer. The unit can be put under the sink or between the sink and the toilet (specify when ordering).
Separate Bedroom Option
The Muskoka Seasonal is available with an optional one-bedroom with a lockable door. A second room is available as an option (see options section below).
PU Insulation R-18 Option
Polyurethane (PU) insulation is superior when it comes to R-Value per inch of material. When PU is made into what is called a PU Sandwich Board with steel on both sides (as shown in the illustration) it is fire retardant.
Spray Foam Floor Insulation Option
This optional insulation keeps your feet warm and increases energy efficiency.
Interior Wall Finish Options
The Muskoka is available with a selection of optional Bamboo based WPC wall panels. These wall panels are formaldehyde-free and are an excellent eco-friendly way to make your EcoPod look like a high-end resort.

SPC Plank Flooring Option
SPC is a type of luxury vinyl flooring with a stone composite core. It is more stable and durable than wood.
Sliding Side Door Option
This option adds an additional sliding door on the side of the Muskoka.
Additional Windows Option
The Muskoka comes standard with 4 high-quality aluminum windows. More windows are available as desired.
Dry Flush Toilet Option
The Muskoka is available with an optional “dry flush” toilet which uses no water. Comes ready to use. Features quick change disposable cartridges and easy mess-free clean up. Requires electricity for operation, however this can be a simple automotive battery.
